Requirements and Responsibilities
Forecasts costs for new projects. Gathers details and compiles data to estimate all sales costs based on specifications. Considers current economic conditions that may affect the organization's ability to sell its products or services in the marketplace. May require a bachelor's degree in a related field. Relies on judgment and limited experience to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
