Requirements and Responsibilities

Sales Director - Medicare Products directs and oversees the policies, objectives, and initiatives focused on achieving specified sales targets for Medicare insurance products. Develops, monitors, and utilizes productivity metrics to drive results. Being a Sales Director - Medicare Products integrates industry trends, consumer preferences, and internal capabilities to ensure effective sales teams that are trained on new products and comply with all CMS regulatory requirements and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Additionally, Sales Director - Medicare Products typically reports to senior management. The Sales Director - Medicare Products manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
