Retail Loss Prevention Senior Auditor analyzes and reviews store accounting, inventory, and transaction data to detect issues and ensure that policies and programs to reduce loss are implemented. Evaluates processes and procedures to identify internal control weaknesses that could result in loss. Being a Retail Loss Prevention Senior Auditor recommends procedures and programs to remediate internal control weaknesses and mitigate losses. Reviews patterns and trends related to product loss. Additionally, Retail Loss Prevention Senior Auditor coordinates with law enforcement to conduct investigations of theft or fraud. Investigates employee policy violations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Retail Loss Prevention Senior Auditor work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Retail Loss Prevention Senior Auditor typically requires 4-7 years of related experience.
