Requirements and Responsibilities
Monitors premises to reduce losses due to theft and fraud. Enforces security measures and procedures, observes areas that are vulnerable to theft and identifies occurrences. Ensures employees understand and follow policies and procedures for loss prevention and cash handling. Collects, records, and maintains loss and incident data in appropriate format and system. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
