Regulatory Relations Liaison

Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for filing necessary applications and handling all government interactions pertaining to the regulation and certification process for a plant or other facility. Develops procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Prepares reports for top management detailing projects that may impact the organization's regulation status. May represent the organization before federal or state legislations. May require an advanced degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
