Radiological Surveillance Technician II performs and documents routine radiation and contamination surveys to detect radioactivity levels. Ensures all meters and monitoring equipment is correctly calibrated and maintained. Being a Radiological Surveillance Technician II may assist in distributing and collecting personal dosimeters or conducting safety training. Follows standard procedures to respond to and report incidents. Additionally, Radiological Surveillance Technician II typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
