Requirements and Responsibilities

Quality Control Inspector IV performs various quality control inspections, checks, and tests of products during the manufacturing process. Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production to ensure compliance with company standards. Being a Quality Control Inspector IV compiles, interprets, and records observations of production processes. Identifies, communicates, and assists in the resolution of quality related issues. Additionally, Quality Control Inspector IV may be responsible for making recommendations to improve production process. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Quality Control Inspector IV has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. To be a Quality Control Inspector IV typically requires 5-7 years of related experience.
