Requirements and Responsibilities

Powerhouse Supervisor I supervises employees responsible for the operations and maintenance of equipment such as generators, boilers, turbines, compressors, or ventilating or refrigerating systems. Monitors equipment and operating conditions to ensure safety standards are met. Powerhouse Supervisor I, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Powerhouse Supervisor I typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team.
