Photo Editor researches, plans, and edits photography content for an organization. Works with creators, designers, writers, and/or editors to ensure content is selected and edited in a manner cohesive with the tone, content, and objective of the project. Being a Photo Editor uses editing tools to process and retouch photos, coordinates the licensing of stock photography, and adheres to project budgets. Coordinates and adheres to a standard workflow including research, submission, content selection, editing, and publishing. Additionally, Photo Editor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Photo Editor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Photo Editor typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
