Requirements and Responsibilities

Patient Experience Manager manages the implementation of a patient experience strategy that supports the organization's mission, values, and goals. Oversees initiatives and projects to nurture and support a patient-centric culture across clinical, support, and administrative functions. Being a Patient Experience Manager collects, measures, and analyzes patient. family, and staff sentiment data and feedback to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Patient Experience Manager coordinates role-based training to enhance each patient interaction. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Patient Experience Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Patient Experience Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
