Requirements and Responsibilities
Assists and supports attorneys with research for trial or due diligence. Researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes. Prepares legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, etc. Understands technical legal terminology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to an attorney. Typically requires paralegal certification. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience and a bachelor's degree.
