Requirements and Responsibilities

Network Planning Analyst V plans, designs, evaluates, and optimizes network systems. Analyzes a network's performance in metrics like effectiveness, efficiency, or security and identifies areas for improvement. Being a Network Planning Analyst V designs solutions to improve this performance. Communicates and collaborates with other organizational teams to understand how a network operates and fits in with organizational systems and objectives. Additionally, Network Planning Analyst V develops, updates, and maintains network documentation including diagrams, policies, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. The Network Planning Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be a Network Planning Analyst V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
