Marketing Supervisor supervises projects and associated activities that execute marketing objectives, strategies, programs, and policies for all products and services for the organization. Incorporates the marketing vision into specific action plans, tasks, and tactics. Being a Marketing Supervisor oversees daily operations of marketing functions to ensure the information and support for programs are effectively delivered. Administers the collection of data and the analytical reporting to track and Identify changes in customers, competitors, and business climate and enable responsive marketing activities. Additionally, Marketing Supervisor supports and coaches marketing teams. Coordinates details of projects for short-term and long-term marketing plans. May manage vendor relationships and deliverables. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Marketing Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Marketing Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
