Requirements and Responsibilities

Market Access Specialist V is responsible for creating and executing comprehensive market access strategies. Designs, develops, and implements an integrated marketing strategy to deliver a strong product value proposition with the end user in mind. Being a Market Access Specialist V conducts qualitative and quantitative research to provide analytical insights in response to specific market access issues and/or trends. Creates marketing materials that communicate the unique attributes of the drug/medical device to external stakeholders including payer and trade channel recommendations. Additionally, Market Access Specialist V provides strategic recommendations for pricing, patient access, reimbursement, and health systems strategy to support expanding the accessibility of the drug/medical device Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Market Access Specialist V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be a Market Access Specialist V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
