Requirements and Responsibilities

Market Access Specialist IV is responsible for creating and executing comprehensive market access strategies. Designs, develops, and implements an integrated marketing strategy to deliver a strong product value proposition with the end user in mind. Being a Market Access Specialist IV conducts qualitative and quantitative research to provide analytical insights in response to specific market access issues and/or trends. Creates marketing materials that communicate the unique attributes of the drug/medical device to external stakeholders including payer and trade channel recommendations. Additionally, Market Access Specialist IV provides strategic recommendations for pricing, patient access, reimbursement, and health systems strategy to support expanding the accessibility of the drug/medical device Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Market Access Specialist IV work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Market Access Specialist IV typically requires 7+ years of related experience.
