Requirements and Responsibilities

Market Access Senior Manager manages a team responsible for creating and executing comprehensive market access strategies. Implements an integrated marketing strategy to deliver a strong product value proposition with the end user in mind. Being a Market Access Senior Manager manages the creation of marketing materials that communicate the unique attributes of the drug/medical device to external stakeholders including payer and trade channel recommendations. Provides strategic recommendations for pricing, patient access, reimbursement, and health systems strategy to support expanding the accessibility of the drug/medical device. Additionally, Market Access Senior Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Market Access Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Market Access Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
