Requirements and Responsibilities

Manufacturing Engineering Technician II provides technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility. Assists in the development of layouts or floor plans, conducts tests and troubleshoots equipment. Being a Manufacturing Engineering Technician II documents test procedures and results. Solves routine technical problems. Additionally, Manufacturing Engineering Technician II requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Manufacturing Engineering Technician II works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
