Requirements and Responsibilities

Manufacturing Engineering Technician I provides technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility. Assists in the development of layouts or floor plans, conducts tests and troubleshoots equipment. Being a Manufacturing Engineering Technician I documents test procedures and results. Solves routine technical problems. Additionally, Manufacturing Engineering Technician I requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Manufacturing Engineering Technician I possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
