Requirements and Responsibilities

Managerial Accounting Senior Manager manages the development of financial accounting and reporting processes focused on analyzing costs and budgets used to support informed management decision-making. Oversees the collection and analysis of business operational metrics used to develop trend analysis, budget allocations, and forecasting. Being a Managerial Accounting Senior Manager works with management to develop and deliver the data-driven information needed to plan for inventories, products, pricing, production levels, capital expenditures, and other business processes. Implements systems and tools to provide accurate and timely regular and ad-hoc reporting for internal planning purposes. Additionally, Managerial Accounting Senior Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Typically reports to a director. The Managerial Accounting Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
