Managerial Accountant I provides financial accounting and reporting that analyzes costs and budgets to support informed management decision-making. Collects and analyzes business operational metrics to develop trend analysis, budget allocations, and forecasting. Being a Managerial Accountant I works with management to develop and deliver the data-driven information needed to plan for inventories, products, pricing, production levels, capital expenditures, and other business processes. Prepares regular and ad-hoc reporting for internal planning purposes. Additionally, Managerial Accountant I typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
