Major Gifts Senior Coordinator coordinates and supports a philanthropic gift program to nurture and solicit relationships with corporate, institutional, and major donors. Maintains a portfolio of existing and potential donors and executes the strategy to enhance and extend relationships to generate philanthropic revenue. Being a Major Gifts Senior Coordinator organizes and attends events and meetings with prospects to raise awareness of the organization's mission and highlight accomplishments and ongoing funding needs. Makes regular personal contact with key contributors to strengthen relations with the organization. Additionally, Major Gifts Senior Coordinator crafts communications and content for a website, newsletters, and other media. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Major Gifts Senior Coordinator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Major Gifts Senior Coordinator typically requires 4-7 years of related experience.
