Requirements and Responsibilities

Machine Shop Production Supervisor III oversees personnel in charge of operating machines that perform a variety of processing operations. Supervises assembly operations such as filing, aligning, fitting, and scraping of parts to ensure established requirements and standards are met. Being a Machine Shop Production Supervisor III may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Machine Shop Production Supervisor III supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department.
