Loss Control Representative

Requirements and Responsibilities
Creates and implements safety programs and performs accident investigations. Inspects and reports on commercial accounts. Provides loss control assistance to agents and supports insured clients within an assigned territory. Prevents injury by identifying and anticipating concerns and hazards with routine insured accounts; reports hazards found. Facilitates awareness and conducts safe work environment training. May make recommendations to prevent loss. Complies with federal, state, and local safety regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
