Requirements and Responsibilities

Legal Conflicts Analyst is responsible for identifying and researching potential conflicts of interest and reviewing new client/matter information. Conducts research in the organization's internal databases and external databases to determine whether actual or potential conflicts exist. Being a Legal Conflicts Analyst assists with investigation of potential conflicts through daily searches and preliminary checks on work intake and lateral hires. Works with manager to document conflict clearances on new business submissions. Additionally, Legal Conflicts Analyst prepares clear and concise reports documenting the results of specific conflict searches and highlights the areas of potential conflict. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Legal Conflicts Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Legal Conflicts Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
