Inside Sales Support Specialist I assists with remote sales development calls and processes for a territory or portfolio of customers. Coordinates with field sales team members to understand customers' unique needs and potential sales opportunities. Being an Inside Sales Support Specialist I initiates customer calls to promote new and existing products and services, offer special discounts and promotions, or provide essential account management services. Provides product information to meet customers' needs, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Additionally, Inside Sales Support Specialist I completes routine support tasks to process renewals or sales. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Inside Sales Support Specialist I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
