Industrial Designer III

Requirements and Responsibilities
Develops industrial design specifications to optimize the product function and value. Analyzes the intended use of products and user preferences to carry out a complete detail and layout drawings. Ensures final designs meet marketing requirements, quality and cost goals, product specifications, and manufacturability standards. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may have 2 years experience plus an associates degree, or additional training or certification.
