Requirements and Responsibilities
Develops industrial design specifications to optimize the product function and value. Analyzes the intended use of products and user preferences to carry out a complete detail and layout drawings. Ensures final designs meet marketing requirements, quality and cost goals, product specifications, and manufacturability standards. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
