Import/Export Administrator

Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for the movement of merchandise and/or material in/out of the country in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Calculates duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported and imported, to and from foreign destinations. Monitors and completes paperwork and monetary transactions associated with international distribution in a timely manner. Requires an associate's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience and a bachelor's degree.
