Requirements and Responsibilities

IT Configuration Analyst II administers and executes the IT configuration management process. Responsible for the overall administration, configuration, maintenance, design, and improvement of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Being an IT Configuration Analyst II conducts configuration auditing in areas such as software version control, integration construction, and release management. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, IT Configuration Analyst II typically reports to a manager. The IT Configuration Analyst II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be an IT Configuration Analyst II typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
