Requirements and Responsibilities

Film Librarian processes loan requests for patient radiology films from doctors, patients, law offices and other interested parties. Tracks and files films and troubleshoots missing records. Being a Film Librarian duplicates films as needed and provides general clerical support for the film department. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Film Librarian typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Film Librarian works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Film Librarian typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
