Requirements and Responsibilities For Executive Steward
Oversees staff responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen(s) or other food preparation areas. Assists in cleaning equipment or food preparation areas as needed. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
