Emergency Services Coordinator coordinates, plans, and schedules emergency medical transport air and ground services and routine transport services to communities and facilities. Maintains standard operating procedures and guidelines for safety, services, crews, equipment, and vehicles. Being an Emergency Services Coordinator tracks operational activity and prepares required reporting. Acts as liaison with fire, police, or other authorities in emergencies. Additionally, Emergency Services Coordinator requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Emergency Services Coordinator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be an Emergency Services Coordinator typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
