Emergency Response Planning Coordinator develops and supports the planning, preparation, and staff training for response to emergencies. Conducts audits to ensure that documentation of procedures for emergency response is up to date and required signage and equipment are operational and in place. Being an Emergency Response Planning Coordinator organizes exercises or drills to train staff and review the effectiveness of plans. Assists with response to actual incidents. Additionally, Emergency Response Planning Coordinator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Emergency Response Planning Coordinator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be an Emergency Response Planning Coordinator typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
