Electrical Designer II
Also referred to as: Electrical Designer II, Intermediate Level Electrical Designer
Requirements and Responsibilities
Designs and develops layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power distribution. Assists in the production of detailed schematics. Requires basic knowledge of electrical equipment and local building codes. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
