Drafter IV

Requirements and Responsibilities
Provides drafting support for high complexity or unique projects, prepares various drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, blueprints and sketches. Utilizes established techniques, standards and tools like computer aided drafting software to prepare technical drawings. Collaborates with engineers or designers to complete and contribute to projects. Makes recommendations, prioritizes drafting work, and acts as advisor to other drafters on advanced methods and techniques. May require an associate's degree of drafting or drafting technology or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Has a wide and comprehensive understanding of both general and specific aspects of the job. Is capable of working on complex problems and exceptions without direct supervision. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience
