Dietitian - Home Care conducts assessments of patient/caretaker nutritional needs to implement nutritional care plan complying with the medical diagnosis needs. Plans menus, inspects food to ensure portions adhere to set restrictions and dietary standards. Being a Dietitian - Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Requires state license to practice. Additionally, Dietitian - Home Care requires Registered Dietitian (RD). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Dietitian - Home Care occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Dietitian - Home Care typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
