Requirements and Responsibilities For Dealer
Deals a variety of games such as poker, craps, blackjack, baccarat, and roulette. Manipulates cards, dice, chips, and gaming devices such as roulette wheels and craps sticks. Handles player transactions, notifies pit supervisor of any irregularities or disputes that may arise during the game. Accepts bets, pays winners and collects from non-winners. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of related experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
