Requirements and Responsibilities

Consumer Loan Collector III contacts customers who are delinquent in the repayment of their loans and obtains payments, commitment agreements or establishes a repayment plan. Follows set policies and procedures when determining a suitable collection solution. Being a Consumer Loan Collector III may train or coach less experienced staff in strategies to remedy delinquent accounts. Supervises, leads, directs, and trains lower level consumer loan collecting staff. Additionally, Consumer Loan Collector III requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Consumer Loan Collector III works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be a Consumer Loan Collector III typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
