Computer Forensics Analyst I performs forensic analysis on computer systems and servers. Investigates cybersecurity incidents using digital forensic techniques and tools. Being a Computer Forensics Analyst I collects, preserves, and analyzes digital evidence. Recovers emails, databases, and other potentially lost or compromised data. Additionally, Computer Forensics Analyst I documents and reports on findings, and recommends next steps. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Computer Forensics Analyst I occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Computer Forensics Analyst I typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
