Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr.

Requirements and Responsibilities
Monitors customer accounts and researches complex transactions to identify suspicious activity in violation of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, and other Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Reviews Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR), and submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as appropriate. Identifies and reports on changing trends in methods used by fraud perpetrators. Stays informed on changes to all related banking regulations. May supervise and guide lower-level compliance analysts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
