Reviews insurance claims forms and documents for accuracy and completion and obtains missing information as necessary. Determines claims coverage by examining company records. Responsible for calculating claims amounts and submitting claims for payment. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
