Chemical Technician II
Also referred to as: Chemical Technician II, Intermediate Level Chemical Technician
Requirements and Responsibilities
Determines the physical and chemical properties of compounds using quantitative and qualitative analyses in physical, organic, or inorganic chemistry. Performs a variety of chemical tests and is knowledgeable with instrumental techniques. Prepares materials for laboratory examination. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
