Business Process Technology Consulting Manager manages technology consulting projects and operations focused on improving and enhancing client business processes. Utilizes consultative methodologies to research and analyze complex issues surrounding an organization's systems. Being a Business Process Technology Consulting Manager guides the client in an assessment process to define the organization's needs and explore and evaluate solution options that meet business requirements. Identifies technical infrastructure solutions for improving processes, efficiency, and practices of the organization's business systems. Additionally, Business Process Technology Consulting Manager trains and manages service teams with consulting skills and technological expertise to staff projects and provide project support. Monitors project timelines, resources, expenses, and outcomes to ensure successful results. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Business Process Technology Consulting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Process Technology Consulting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
