Business Process Technology Consulting Director directs technology consulting projects and operations focused on improving and enhancing client business processes. Develops consultative methodologies to research and analyze complex issues surrounding an organization's systems. Being a Business Process Technology Consulting Director guides the client in an assessment process to define the organization's needs and explore and evaluate solution options that meet business requirements. Identifies technical infrastructure solutions for improving processes, efficiency, and practices of the organization's business systems. Additionally, Business Process Technology Consulting Director builds service teams with consulting skills and technological expertise to staff projects and provide project support. Analyzes overall project timelines, resources, expenses, and outcomes to optimize operations and service offerings. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Business Process Technology Consulting Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Business Process Technology Consulting Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
