Business Application Delivery Supervisor supervises a team of business application delivery programmers. Leads multiple projects and oversees programmers to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed correctly. Being a Business Application Delivery Supervisor trains programmers on standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Establishes deadlines, develops goals, and tracks performance metrics for the department. Additionally, Business Application Delivery Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Business Application Delivery Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Application Delivery Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
