Biomedical Engineering Technician

Requirements and Responsibilities
Assembles, maintains, and repairs various medical equipment. Tests the functionality of equipment and takes accuracy, sensitivity, and selectivity measurements. Assists medical staff in operation of equipment. May require an associate's degree in biomedical engineering or electronic engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.
