Bereavement Coordinator

Requirements and Responsibilities
Provides bereavement counseling to survivors. Matches families with bereavement volunteers and organizes grief support group sessions. Relies on social workers to provide assessments on bereavement. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
