Requirements and Responsibilities

Bartender prepares cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages for customers. Has knowledge of common drinks and makes suggestions to customers. Being a Bartender monitors bar inventory and takes appropriate action. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Bartender typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Bartender works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Bartender typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
