BIM Engineer III develops detailed models, drawings, and visualizations of construction projects or building infrastructure using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software tools. Interprets feedback to create, modify, and optimize building components, elements, and assemblies and utilizes BIM tools to reflect accurate design intent, specifications, and requirements. Being a BIM Engineer III collaborates and coordinates with architects, engineers, designers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to integrate design information, requirements, and specifications within the BIM model and project documentation. Identifies and resolves design conflicts, inconsistencies, and issues to improve the design quality and project efficiency. Additionally, BIM Engineer III prepares, and reviews BIM documentation, drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards, regulations, and project requirements. Compiles, analyzes, and documents information and data from models to support and optimize project planning, budgeting, and procurement processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The BIM Engineer III work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
