Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for substantial architectural projects. Selects, evaluates, and implements architectural procedures and techniques used to complete projects. Writes reports and specifications, supervises the preparation of architectural plans, and reviews completed plans and estimates. Supervises and guides the work of lower-level architects. Requires the use of more advanced techniques. Requires a bachelor's degree of architecture . Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require a state architect's license. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience.
